How to Register Online using myMCC

Registering for MCC courses is easy, and can be completed in a few minutes using myMCC. To ensure that things go smoothly, it will be important to have a few things ready before you begin.

First, you will need a Student ID number and PIN. The Student ID number is NOT your Social Security Number. It is a 9-digit number that is assigned when you complete the admissions process. Student Ids and PIN numbers are obtained at student orientation.

If you have forgotten either of them, you must appear in person at the Registration office to obtain them. Bring a photo ID with you. For security reasons, the Registration office will not give out Student ID numbers or PINs over the phone.

Make sure that you know which courses, and the sections of those courses, you want to register for. If you aren’t sure, consult a printed course schedule, or visit the course listing at Credit Course Offerings. (The site will open in a new browser window). Remember that not every course is offered every semester.

Once you have your Student ID and PIN and know which courses you want to take, you’re ready to begin.

Let’s take a brief look at the registration system. When you’re ready, click on the link at the bottom of this page to begin the registration process.

Remember to keep your Student ID and PIN secret. Since they are used to change the courses you are registered for, anyone aware of your ID and PIN can add and drop courses from your schedule without your permission.

The registration site only permits a registration session to remain idle (without any activity at all) for 5 minutes before automatically ending the session. This is for security purposes, so that if a student is called away from their screen, they won’t remain logged in.

  1. Step one is to log in. Enter your Student ID and PIN into the boxes on the Login screen. When both boxes are completed, click the Login button.
    Both boxes must be filled in, with a 9-digit (no spaces or dashes) number in the Student ID# box and a 4-digit number in the PIN box.
  2. Step two is to choose the term you wish to register for. Click on the circle to the left of the desired term, then click the Select button.

The main registration screen will appear. From here you can click on any of the navigation links at the top of each screen to view a new screen.

NOTE: For technical reasons, the Back button of your web browser (Internet Explorer, etc.) will be disabled during your registration session. Clicking on it will have no effect. Use the navigation links to move from screen to screen.
