We offer a variety of fun and enriching activities for grade schoolers through high school-age students including ScotStars sports camps and Kids and College enrichment classes.

College Entry Test Preparation
ACT and SAT® prep
College Readiness Academies
Separate two-week long sessions for rising sophomores and juniors, and rising seniors
High School Plus
A collection of programs to allow students to explore college classes and careers at McHenry County College while still in high school
Kids and College
An enrichment program for all students in grades pre-kindergarten through 12th grade
ScotStars Sports Camps
Baseball, basketball, volleyball and softball camps
Partnership for College and Career Success (formerly known as Tech Prep)
High school students start working on a professional certificate or associate’s degree
Running Start
High school students enroll in college classes for the purpose of earning both college and high school credit, or just college credit

How to Register Online

  1. If you're new to MCC, see www.mchenry.edu/myMCC and select: Register for Workforce and Community Development Classes »
  2. To search for a class, enter search criteria such as keyword (ex. ACT) or the course code number. Or, try selecting a Topic Code using the arrow for the drop-down menu.
  3. Select a class for registration and click Submit.
  4. Complete the required personal identification information and payment information, then click Submit.
