Graphic Arts Scholarship Fund

Eligibility requirements: Applicant must complete and submit the MCC Scholarship Application, enrolled in Graphic Arts course(s) and pursuing AAS degree in Graphic Arts, provide a short essay (200 word minimum) describing educational and career goals in regards to the graphic arts field, submit five (5) unique digital images (photography, digital art, etc. Images must be submitted in a JPEG format via email at, proof of financial need through FAFSA application, enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours (preference will be given to a full-time student/12 credit hour minimum), maintain a 2.5 GPA and provide proof of GPA, provide a letter of recommendation from instructor or employer. Preference will be given to residents of McHenry County.
Support provided: The annual award amount is determined by the Finance Committee of the Friends of MCC Foundation Board of Directors. No payments made to the student directly. The award monies may only be used for tuition in the semester awarded.
Material to be submitted:
  • Letter of recommendation.
  • Proof of cumulative GPA.

Applicant must submit the following: MCC Scholarship Application with signature and date, proof of enrollment in Graphic Arts courses, short essay (200 minimum), five (5) digital images, proof of FAFSA completion, proof of enrollment, proof of 2.5 GPA and letter of recommendation.
