Robert Popovich Memorial Scholarship

Eligibility requirements: Applicant must be pursuing a degree in Humanities: Art, English, Psychology, Journalism, Languages, Music, Philosophy, Speech, or Theater. Applicant must provide a one-page essay on their career goals and how an MCC education will contribute to meeting those goals. Applicant must provide a letter of recommendation from an instructor. Applicant must be a resident of McHenry County.
Support provided: The award will provide up to $250 to the recipient for the semester awarded. No payments will be made to the student directly. The award monies may only be used for tuition, books (purchased from the MCC Bookstore) and fees (i.e., Registration, Course, Lab and Technology) for the semester awarded.
Material to be submitted:
  • Letter of recommendation.

Applicant must provide the following: MCC Scholarship Application Form with signature and date. Must provide transcript, and a one-page essay. Must provide a letter of recommendation from an instructor. Must provide proof of residency in McHenry County.
