Rusty Wadsworth Humanities Scholarship

Eligibility requirements: Applicants must complete and submit the MCC Scholarship Application; provide a letter of recommendation from an instructor or supervisor; provide proof of financial need by applying for FAFSA; write an essay (200 – 300 words) explaining their educational goals. Preference will be given to a female student. Preference will be given to a student who is currently involved in tutoring or mentoring students.
Support provided: The recipient will receive up to $250.00 in award monies for the semester awarded. No payments made to students directly. The award monies may only be used for tuition, books (purchased from the MCC Bookstore) and fees (i.e., Registration, Course, Lab, and Technology) for the semester awarded.
Material to be submitted:
  • Letter of recommendation.

Applicant must provide the following: MCC Scholarship Application Form with signature and date, proof of FAFSA completion, letter of recommendation and written essay (200 - 300 words).
