I was able to have my first two years of college paid for

Sarah Fox

I enrolled at McHenry County College in 2009. I knew I wanted to stay close to home, and I also
knew I did not want to be $100,000 in debt by the age of 22. I heard about the Promise Program
my senior year in High School and I could not pass it up. The program had some hiccups, but I
ended up being able to take full advantage of it. I was able to have my first two years of college
paid for by sustaining a 3.0 GPA or higher and doing the recommended community service
each semester.

After MCC, I transferred to Columbia College of Missouri in Crystal Lake and received my
bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a major in marketing. Shortly after, I received
my dream job at Paylocity in Arlington Heights and couldn’t be happier!
