The Criminal Justice—Social Service track explores the study of society and human social interaction. Students will review significant social issues and identify social problems. In addition to foundational courses in criminal law, government, and psychology, students will examine contemporary social problems in the U.S. and world through the representation of empirical evidence and sociological theories. Additionally, students evaluate existing solutions and learn to propose meaningful solutions to major social problems. This track is ideal for students wanting to pursue careers as social workers, rehab counselors, and community health workers.
