Energy Audit Certificate

The Energy Audit Certificate prepares entry-level heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) technicians to assist in performing energy audits on residential and small commercial structures. You will develop a basic understanding of the ways to provide proper ventilation, conserve energy, reduce air leakage and drafts, air sealing techniques, and minimize health risks. Training includes the proper use of blower doors, and duct blasters, diagnostic testing, data analysis, and making recommendations to the homeowner for improvements using structure insulation.
