Registration Open for Fall Classes at MCC

There’s still time to take the next step toward your educational or career goals by enrolling in the Fall semester at MCC, which begins August 19.

The College offers a wide variety of career and technical programs, associate degrees, and dozens of classes that easily transfer.

“MCC has a program to meet you where you are at any point of your journey,” said Amy Carzoli, Assistant Vice President of Enrollment Services at MCC. “If you know you want to earn an associate degree and transfer to a four-year school; if you’re thinking about returning to school after a long time off; if you want to explore a few interests before deciding on a career path—we have personalized options for everyone.”

MCC offers small class sizes, various support services to help students navigate the college experience, advisors who can create class schedules and provide guidance on future goals, plus career services, tutoring, and more.

This fall, the College has many new and expanded training programs for careers in the skilled trades through its state-of-the-art Foglia Center for Advanced Technology and Innovation (CATI). Programs available include Architectural and Engineering Design Technology; Automation, Robotics, and Mechatronics; Construction Management; Engineering Technology; Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC); Industrial Management and Technology; Precision Machining; and Welding and Fabrication.

“These programs are a great option if you’re interested in solving problems, working with your hands, or learning a particular skillset,” added Carzoli. “There are opportunities for people at every stage of their career—those looking to learn a skilled trade for the first time or those who want to change careers or increase their value to current employers.”

The University Center at MCC in Woodstock is also enrolling for its Fall 2024 programs from educational partners Aurora University, Northern Illinois University, Roosevelt University, and Southern Illinois University – Carbondale. Program offerings and details can be found here.

“It’s easy to get started with any of our programs,” said Carzoli. “Students can apply online or contact a New Student Enrollment Coach with any questions about classes or programs.”

In addition to already offering college education at a fraction of the cost of a four-year school, MCC offers a variety of scholarships, grants, and payment plans to help students pay for school. Find financial resources here.
