While MCC offers an Associate in Science (AS) degree rather than a specific Computer Science degree, our Computer Science Sample Transfer Pathway provides a recommended course schedule designed to seamlessly transfer into four-year Computer Science programs.

In MCC’s Computer Science program, you’ll learn critical skills in program design, testing, documentation, data structures, and file manipulation. Using a disciplined and procedural approach to problem-solving and algorithm development, you’ll gain extensive practice with the latest programming languages and develop a strong foundation in a variety of mathematical and scientific concepts.

This program will help prepare you to begin a career in areas such as software development, database administration, engineering, computer research, and more.
