2. Watch for an email from your advisor
New-Student Orientation (NSO) is an important orientation program where you'll learn more about the college, connect with faculty and advisors, and learn to plan and register for your classes. Once you complete NSO, an academic advisor will contact you via email to arrange your first advising appointment. In that meeting, the advisor will help you register for classes.
All new full-time students are required to complete NSO in order to register as a full-time student. For new students entering in Summer or Fall 2021, New-Student Orientation is virtual and self-paced.
While NSO is optional for new part-time students, we strongly encourage you to take it as it provides useful information about MCC and its various student services.
Join us for Campus Connect, a 90-minute event to learn about the resources on campus and how to get involved throughout the summer. Meet us in Building A in the Atrium to begin your tour of MCC!
