Noncredit Career Training Scholarships

MCC offers financial support to students interested in noncredit career training programs that provide professional certification, licensure, or other industry-recognized credentials.

  • Pipeline for the Advancement of the Healthcare Workforce (PATH) Grant Funding - PATH funding assists students entering into education/training programs designed to help them gain employment in in-demand healthcare occupations like MCC's EKG Technician, Phlebotomy Technician, Medical Assistant, and Pharmacy Technician programs. Recipients receive support and tuition assistance while receiving the training.
  • Rotary Club of Cary-Grove Career Training Scholarship - Students, 16 years or older, who reside in the 60013 or 60021 zip codes and are furthering their education through noncredit workforce and career training programs may apply for funding. Applicants are eligible for up to 75% of course tuition, with a maximum of $2,000. Students must complete the Career Training Scholarship Application.
  • Rotary Club of Crystal Lake Dawnbreakers Career Training Scholarship – Students, 16 years or older, who reside in the 60012, 60014, or 60039 zip codes and are furthering their education through noncredit workforce and career training programs may apply for funding. Applicants are eligible for up to 75% of course tuition, with a maximum of $2,500. Students must complete the Career Training Scholarship Application.
  • Vocational Career Training Scholarship - The Vocational Career Training Scholarship awards students who enroll in professional certification and career training courses up to 50% of the course fee. Students must complete the Career Training Scholarship Application and may be asked to attend a brief in-person interview. Students age 16 and older may apply.
  • Waterloo Vocational Scholarship – The Waterloo Vocational Scholarship awards students who enroll in professional certification and career training courses up to 75% of the course fee. Students must complete the Career Training Scholarship Application. Students aged 16 and older may apply.
