Pipeline for the Advancement of the Healthcare Workforce (PATH)

The Pipeline for the Advancement of the Healthcare Workforce (PATH) program, funded through an Illinois Community College Board grant, aims to serve, create, support, and expand the opportunities for individuals in nursing and select healthcare pathways to obtain certificates and degrees, allowing you to enter and/or advance your career in the healthcare industry.

How PATH Helps MCC Students

The PATH grant provides short-term and long-term education/training programs designed to help you gain employment in high-wage and in-demand occupations within the healthcare field. You receive support, including compensation to help cover basic costs while receiving the training.

Assistance PATH participants may be eligible to receive

  • Tuition and fee assistance
  • Books and materials
  • Education stipend
  • Transportation stipend
  • Childcare assistance
  • Tutoring
  • Essential and employability skills training
  • Job placement
