Save the Date – MCC Community Block Party The Foundation continues planning for the third annual MCC Community Block Party, which will be held on Sunday, July 27, from Noon to 5 p.m. This year’s Block Party will be held on MCC’s main campus. A band lineup has been established, featuring local bands The Double Standard, Hillbilly Rockstarz, and MockStar. A special addition to this year’s lineup will be a performance by the Kids and College Rockstar Academy program. The event will focus on MCC Alumni in the community and will also feature food trucks, local breweries, fundraising opportunities, and many other surprises. 2023 Community Block Party
The Friends of MCC Foundation hosted its first Community Block Party on Sunday, July 30, 2023, at Sew Hop’d Brewery in Huntley. The event featured an afternoon of family-friendly entertainment including live music by David’s House, Cornelius and the Sled Dogs, and Renegade Wildflower, food trucks, a farm market stand hosted by MCC’s Center for Agrarian Learning, and children’s activities provided by MCC’s Kids and College program.
