Political Science—Associate in Arts (AA) Degree
Study the theory and practice of government and politics both in the U.S. and throughout the world.
In the Political Science program at MCC, you’ll build skills in analysis, research, and debate as you study international relations, different schools of political thought, comparative government, and more. Classes led by political experts will help you gain a deeper understanding of the U.S. government, the relationship between state and local governments, the Constitution, and the history that exists between world nations.
Graduates of the program can go on to pursue a bachelor’s degree and enter careers in national and local government, legal work, education, governmental affairs, interest groups, and other international organizations.
