- Review the catalog and credit course schedules in Self-Service.
- Meet with an academic advisor to ensure that you're taking the right classes.
- Register for classes online, in-person or by phone.
- Purchase books at The MCC Store.
- Ways to Register
- Register online - the quickest way to register is through myMCC.
- Follow our step-by-step instructions and watch helpful videos about registering for credit classes through Student Planning.
- In person - come to the Registration Office in A258 and present a valid photo ID, plus the course names, number and section numbers and register with one of the helpful enrollment processors.
- By phone - call the Registration Office at (815) 455-8588 and speak with an enrollment processor. You will respond to a few questions as well as provide course names, number and section numbers to register.
No FAX or mail-in registrations will be accepted.

- Registration Restrictions
- If you owe money for tuition, childcare, a library fine, or to the bookstore, you cannot register.
- If the course schedule indicates a prerequisite, you must have the documentation on file before you can register.
- If a class section is filled, no extra students will be allowed to register.
