Board of Trustees Meeting Schedule

MCC is governed by a seven-member Board of Trustees elected to staggered six-year terms, and by one non-voting student trustee who serves a one-year term. As the legislative body of the College District, the Board of Trustees is responsible for developing and adopting District policies and making related decisions.

Board Meetings of the MCC Board of Trustees are held in the Board Room, A217. These meetings are open to the public. We welcome community members and other guests; however, we request that visitors refrain from using flash photography during meetings.

• All meetings begin at 6 p.m. and generally run between one and three hours.
• Special Board meetings, Finance and Audit Committee (FAC), and Evaluation and Policy Committee (EPC) meetings are called as needed.

Committee of the Whole meetings are held nine days before the regular, monthly Board of Trustees meetings. The meeting calendar for May – April is established at each annual April Organizational meeting.
